With the characters being ripped away from their time, reality and homes they are in need of everything that have lost. In many ways this reality is a fresh start for them, a chance to live a better life. The Babylon Company gives everyone a starter care package in which they have enough money to live comfortable for a couple of years but also supplies them with a home in the region of their choice along with a job. Though the job list always expecting and offering new jobs, they have some basics jobs until something else comes along requested by someone.
The areas are medical, everyday, military, civilian enforcement, politics, and then there are the rogues who are trying to take the company down, they have their own groups and ranks. To get one of these jobs, all one needs to do is fill out a simple form.
